Maryse AchongOne man with many titles he could claim; He was the King of Pop, but there was more… Poor Little Rich Boy could have been his name, The Prince of Pain for all the hurt he bore; A Peter Pan, a misfit to the core, But able still to sing and dance his way Into the hearts of people, that's for sure; He's gone and everyone will have a say, But you deserve to rest in peace now Michael J. back to list |

Jem FarmerTo ride on Pegasus - the white winged horse, I'd fly across the skies to be with you, defining love, a mystic dream, of course, where senses waken with the morning dew. My Pegasus, his wings of shimmering sun, I'd grasp his mane and ride the open sky, to see the truth beyond the easy fun, astride his back, my horse like love can fly, can love be real or just another wasted lie?. ----- Victors Flight ![]() In summer's lunar light - his words I weep? To cast aside his love for beauty's touch, as Siren whores with devilled fingers creep, inside vacated heart of nothing much. A scant desire that leads to bitter pain, his twisted thoughts - my flights of ecstasy, my first and last , my sun and winter's rain, his words release my mind to liberty, yet where his soul remains - his words have no mercy.. ----- When the Goddess Called my Name No love could breathe around my blackened soul, that night I looked to vivid lunar skies, a lonely wind of change as life took toll, I heard the pipes of Pan and whispered sighs. Where witches dance to Nature's true devise, the mystic Lady came and called my name, and magic dreams began to fill my eyes. Oh Queen of silver light my heart is tame, this summer night which sparked my soul's eternal flame. back to list |
Ryter RoethicleFlying alone along the avenue of clouds I welcome the silence and the solitude The total absence of sound and crowds So close, to heaven at this altitude I feel a sense of awe, a change of mood Looking up, I fly my craft along a street First black then white, till blue is viewed Being human, that challenge I cannot meet Too high to far for a mere mortals feat. Angels and Gods look from their heavenly height Smiling at a mere mortal looking up at them Not curious just amused by that simple sight A wish to fly they had heard man mention That wish to fly they could never condemn They give to birds and insects a gift rare Who has not heard their joy of ascension? And the joy of man in flight they are aware As they look down from their castles in the air.. ![]() ----- Discovery ![]() If you look at a person long enough You discover humanity through their eyes First unyielding then no longer tough The longer you look behind the disguise Each time you see more pain and cries And smiles and shrugs and cast off laughs Fears and tears and problems hid by lies Now through fate we have crossed paths Sharing emotions from experiences carafes. ----- Goodly Thoughts Each road in life is along a rocky path Take each step with care in case you slip There is not any truth of the Lord's wrath For like any father your arm will grip And help if needs be, of any further trip Like any father he will watch you stray Understanding curiosity's fillip Yet making allowances for us to play And not feeling put out if we never pray.. ----- Just Shadows ![]() See as we walk the way our shadows hold hands The way they blend and merge as we wander The sun creating images out of golden bands Making them more real than us we wonder. And having joined cannot be pulled asunder The absence of body is this what reality means? What is reality, is it all just a casual blunder This unity of souls this apotheosis of scenes If that is reality, I wonder what are dreams? ----- Learning to Love ![]() Our bodies and minds are conditioned by life Open your heart before love says goodbye Showing emotion and not be stoic in strife To learn to love, you must first learn to cry For too long now, my heart had been awry Slowly through you, I'm now learning to weep Thankfully now that love is in great supply Not tears or sobs and nights spent without sleep Now tears of joy as loves nightly vigil we keep. But now it's become time for you to cry For too long now you have held pain inside It's now time for you to waive it all goodbye Along another's path you must learn to ride At the same time taking on another's stride Now I'm here holding you close as you sob Look in my eyes, see there is nothing denied As anger and frustration from inside we rob Then moving closer we feel hearts throb. ----- You Have You have become a presence in my mind. I do not like it, for no longer is my mind free My thoughts once controlled and simple kind Instead, my waking time is taken up with thee Of the future, of love and of you and me In my minds eye I see you everywhere And think of things that could just be In thoughts so different to what was there With thoughts about someone for who I care ----- Xplanation Each time we love I ascend into heaven For a while I live with the moon and stars Then I become a flaming meteor, a certain Cast off from some remote, distant quasar Not just a reject from nearby planet Mars. Finally I land back on earth happily spent But now I can't give up what's so easily ours I am addicted to you, yet I am content Knowing that my fix will be ever present.. ![]() back to list |
Leny RooversAs purple flocks of clouds appear to fuse together, they are solid; dark's the wall no lights can penetrate, the leaden hues weigh heavy on the sky till raindrops fall. Then heaven cries, and with each tear she calls a message to the Lords of rain and cloud: 'Where is my sun, my light, my flowered hall? Why is she forced to wear this gloomy shroud?' With thundering voice a bolt of lightning answers loud.. ![]() ----- Unfolding When Truth unspoken can't escape the dark, it's light obscured by throngs of loud-mouthed lies, both heart and conscience wait for life's bright spark. It shall ignite black shrouds and unveiled eyes no longer stifle cries as tears arise. Too long we were entangled in lies' hold- a smothered love first withers, then it dies; in chains of exchanged words, Truth stayed untold Now, in your darkest hour, her petals might unfold. ![]() back to list |
Nia Wynne![]() Like a firefly in a fourth of July sky You shown brighter than all of the other rockers, Other rockers, dancers, singers gave little sighs, So little their talents matched the smartness of yours. Sensations of perfection touched clouds, so high, You never thought the sum of it was a quasar, Star like being sending out radio waves, pi Of energy evincing rounds of applause's; So sad you now are lost to the sky, sad causes. ----- Silken Butterfly. Half a dream came true when he opened his wings, Inviting a friendship in the shadows of clouds It seemed that half of love is all he could bring, so with it flew a silken butterflies shroud That should have been left on the muddy ground. Giving up flight again once the earth met With feet of ten thousand butterflies all around, A great mass of life became a regret Wishing for flight that only love would let.. ![]() ----- Where Dragons Die My soul is in the sky where dragons go to die And alight the heavens with another bold star, Always watching and waiting for others to fly, With myself amongst them, in spirit, from afar.
