Malaysian Sonnet

This sonnet form was developed by Jose Rizal M. Reyes of the Philippines and having seen several sonnets using this form it is only fitting that it is included here.
Basically it follows the English form, but with a background of Spanish was able to use a consistent rhyme easier, and similarly Malaysians would have no problems ether.
It has a rhyme scheme of;
.. a. a. b. a. . . b. b. c. b. . . c. c. d. c. . . d. d.
and here is an example.

Nature's Blessing

As I lay my weary head upon the heath
Upon scented herbs that thrive beneath
It is here I shall slumber in deep content
Amidst a gentle breeze of natures breath
Of sweet repose within a meadow spent
Relieving anxieties that may represent
Problems that awaken a loved ones mind
That only the touch of nature can prevent
Within rhythmic tears of sorrow shall find
The emotional sympathy of a heartfelt kind
Amidst the wakening of a new found morn
With all of loves heartaches cast behind.
Soft notes of music 'twixt sheathes of corn
The blessing of nature shall ever be born.
