Love ByThe Lake....Shelley's Sonnet Do you recall the day when we first met I had loved you then as I love you now Never within my heart shall I ever regret Those tender kisses that your lips endow How upon this earth could we ever forget We knew at once this love was meant to be That very moment that your eyes met mine Something was there that set our love free A certain smile or perhaps that gentle touch Had enduced strong feelings of love divine Shall it have been etched in stars as such An eternal destiny that binds love together Where memories never fade at all so much The day we first met shall be ours forever. |
