Blue Moon Tonight....Australian Sonnet In times of myths mystic moons and folklore Still the moon rules the ebb and flow of seas Like today in strong winds or vibrant breeze Turbulant currents that stir a deep sea floor Once and only once when a moon shades blue Strange things happen within tides of the deep When waves rise high with an external sweep Mystical events `neath dark waters construe Lost Cities arise and return to the shoreline Sunken ships awake from the waters beneath A far cry from wonders of the barrier reef Upon turbulant waters of the salt sea brine The skies shall be clearer devoid of gloom Tonight we shall witness the new blue moon. |
