Without You....John Tee Sonnet I dread the nightmare dream of losing you, Of waking here alone without your love Without the comfort of your embrace Such pleasure lost in depths of loneliness Where dull thudding senses intensely burn Like flames recalling what was once is gone. I dread the nightmare dream of losing you, Of waking here alone without your love To face the day without rhyme or reason And even breathing is worthless chore In this emptiness of unending gloom Without you life is not living at all. I dread the nightmare dream of losing you, Of waking here alone without your love. |
