Mother Nature....Sonnet iii Verdi Gris In wholeness Earth and Water join as one, And seeds that lie asleep in fertile soil Await her kiss of life to then uncoil The memory that reaches for the Sun. And while the world is dull, submerged in dun, A conscious breath is held within her heart, A healing breath to mend what's torn apart The magic soul that most will turn and shun. Yet if we choose to pause and hear her dream, To see the rainbow break the tide of grey There is no secret we may not redeem, If instinct guides us to walk Nature's way, Like waters rushing in a mountain stream To touch the stillness found at break of day. |
