The Magical Circle of Byronic Sonnets Inspired by the Art of Tammo de Jongh vi - The Patriarch - Byronic Sonnet Icy reflections in silent stillness, A crystalized breath of dogmatic thought As choices leave the spirit overwrought In tempests of a judicial process. Yet age permits the soul to then regress To times when thoughts were new and born in truth Beyond the grasp of innocence and youth Brought forward there comes a new awareness. We look to our learnings lest they condone The words and deeds disciplined thoughts redeem Justice hails from that we have always known Ideals of the living energy stream. For knowledge is powerless on its own Until wisdom becomes part of the dream. |
