Falling Leaves....Cerispring Sonnet In golden flurries falling leaves Bid farewell summer sun And Mother Earth wears autumn sleeves. The field are bare, the harvest done, And songs surround the fire The darker days have now begun. The changing seasons now behold In floating clouds of red and gold. A time of change the Wheel requires Upon the Equinox Recalled upon a bardic lyre The colder days are taking stock, O children of the Earth, So gather in the crops and flocks. |
