Lets....Experimental Sonnet Lets you and I get lost somewhere, So that we can be alone. Not in a city of bricks and stone. But in country side of dense grown trees, Or open mountains of sterile breeze. Avoiding seas wild and storm tossed Lets you and I get lost somewhere, In a place beyond all cost. Lets you and I get lost somewhere, And find ourselves in some place Where only hearts are allowed to race A place where all is taken into account With their loving feelings paramount And starry eyed lovers never crossed. |
