Love can exhilarate, torment, make whole,
it permeates all tissues of my soul.
At first the touch of butterflies' soft wings,
then energy runs deep inside, heart sings;
in rising passion I feel half consumed.
Warm kisses paint my cheeks with roses' blush,
the garden of our growing love is lush-
caresses shared, send shivers through my womb.
Sweet dreams invade each night, I feel your skin
touch mine, as bodies meet, our senses spin.
The aftermath of love is like a breeze
as dusk's clean air sounds with song of thrush;
we're talking softly in this realm of peace,
I feel your hand on mine in gentle squeeze.
